Will we accept staging driver backporting?

Hi, kernel-team

I'm working on a N+1 enablement bug[1], the driver shows up in staging
directory now(3c05bedb5fef7a6ada63c5dbf61e1258b9019f05), and Greg K-H
commented: "After the btcoexist driver gets merged upstream, I'll pull
it out of here, and will continue to work on removing this version of
rtlwifi in order to use the in-kernel one."

My question is: is it OK if I backport this staging driver, what's the
policy of this? Thanks.
