I think it's a bad idea to ship 4.7 with
CONFIG_TRIM_UNUSED_KSYMS=y

In 4.7 RC6 it is set.

For example nvidia 367 needs:
cpufreq_get
swiotlb_map_sg_attrs
smp_call_function
follow_pfn
pm-vtswitch_required
set_memory_array_wb
pm_vt_switch_unregister
set_memory_array_uc
