Oops, this isn't actually the commit that fixed it... it's the one that 
originally broke it.  It was d856f32a86b2b015ab180ab7a55e455ed8d3ccc5 that 
fixed it.  But, again, not sure if there were follow-on fixes after 
that... only know that 3.13.0-100-generic suffers from the bug.
