Ubuntu 16.10 Kernel Version and Configurations

Hi All,

With Ubuntu 16.10 having just released, I wanted to pass along the
following Ubuntu 16.10 kernel details for wider awareness.  The Ubuntu
16.10 kernel is based on the upstream v4.8 Linux kernel [1].  For those
seeking the specific details of all the changes provided in the Ubuntu
16.10 kernel, please refer to the yakkety kernel git repository [2].  We
also want to take this time to advertise the Ubuntu 16.10 kernel
