[Zesty][SRU][PATCH 0/1] Fix for CVE-2017-15306

This CVE only affects Zesty and limited to powerpc.

Bionic is marked as needed on our CVE tracker because we are tracking the
master branch now, it's already in master-next branch.

Patch compiled and tested with the reproducer in the commit message.
And it works as expected.

A side note is that this patch will collide with a later commit 2a3d6553,
and merged together with it in commit 072df813.
I didn't pickup those aformentioned patches but just focus on this CVE itself.
We can fix that later if we need to.
