Bluetooth regression, speedy backport request

Dear kernel team, I would like to report breakage of BLE bluetooth connectivity on Ubuntu 16.04 and latest stable kernel 4.4.0-166, also seen on newer hwe kernels.

I have performed regression testing and found out that 4.4.0-164 works. With mainline kernels, past working kernel is 4.4.186, 187-194 are broken, while the following fix was applied in mainline 4.4.195 which restores functionality:

I would like to ask you to speed releasing this fix to the stable kernels, as our BLE peripherals are now broken. Thank you.
