And, I realized there's possibly a duplicate commit from this patchset:
"drm/i915/gen9: Clear residual context state on context switch" looks like it's already in Xenial as
"152427f3a3a4a drm/i915/gen9: Clear residual context state on context switch"
The actual code is different in the two patches, but they both claim to backport bc8a76a152c5f9ef3b48104154a65a68a8b76946
I removed the duplicate commit from Xenial
