[mpt3sas, UBSAN] 6.5-rc won't boot

I don't know if this is specific to the Ubuntu-build mainline builds or 
comes from upstream, but asking here first:

This is output from attempted boot of 6.5-rc3 from kernel-ppa, but it is 
similar to rcs 1 and 2:

Please advise as to what additional info to provide and as for taking 
this upstream if this is not the right list.
