Hi!

ping, may I request what is the latest status of this
commit?

Since I have github action workers rely on this anyway,
it once worked on ubuntu 22.04 (Linux 6.5) due to
https://git.launchpad.net/~canonical-kernel/ubuntu/+source/linux-azure/+git/jammy/commit/?id=c7fec922603a7ff52bd037f6ce6791b08f1cfaef

but not ubuntu 24.04 (Linux 6.8).
