After applying your patches, cranky check-packaging is failing:

$ cranky check-packaging
Check debian/control
  - Check linux-source package stanza (LP: #2052439)
EE: debian/control is missing package stanza:
EE:   - Package: linux-source-\d+\.\d+\.\d+
  - Check linux-*-tools-common and linux-*-tools-host package stanzas (LP: #2048183)
EE: debian/control is missing package stanza:
EE:   - Package: linux-tools-common
EE: debian/control is missing package stanza:
EE:   - Package: linux-cloud-tools-common
EE: debian/control is missing package stanza:
EE:   - Package: linux-tools-host

UBUNTU: [packaging] generate debian/control with correct signed/unsigned

it's this patch that is causing the issue, could you check what's going on?
Use plucky/master-next for your tests.
