This is targeting oracular not noble. Since it's not a cherry-pick from
mainline it is usually good to clarify where you're cherry-picking from.

Reading through the LP bug it seems likely that we also want to include
this in plucky. I'm not sure how far along the derivative in plucky is
but maybe this should be re-submitted targeting both plucky and oracular
while also fixing the other two nitpicks I had?
