Rejected for the following reasons:
This has not been accepted upstream for a long time. The discussion 
pointed at sounds a bit like the condition this tries to avoid never 
should happen and it would be the hw driver to be fixed. Also it seems 
that this was not urgent enough anyway to cause any feedback or inquiry 
about it not being present...
