Yes, you should target the bug in accordance to the "J" and/or "N"
to show intent of in which series you intent to deploy the fix to.
It allows us to track the progression of the fix as kernels are
released.

In this specific case:

You can see that I targeted the bug to Jammy, and marked it as "fix
commited" since I applied the patch to our git tree. When the kernel
with this patch will be released, it will switch to "fix released".
I also put "invalid" for the default (development) series because we do
not have a devel (currently questing) linux-bluefield to also apply the
patch to.

I personally did it for this case to win time and get the patch in for
this cycle. Ideally this should be done by you and I just have to verify
it. This allows to check we share the same view of the intent and where
the patch should land.
