Hi just downloaded kubuntu dapper drake and tried installing it.  
 
the live dvd goes well I could boot and work in live dvd .. 
 
but if I select any other boot option live install in hard disk  the kernel getting uncompressed and then  
I get a alert saying "Alert! /dev/ram not found .. Dropping to shell" 
 
I am not sure what is the issue. can you help
