on breezy, after I installed kde 3.4.2 and (ii  libarts1c2              1.4.2-0ubuntu1          aRts Sound system) 
artsd segfaults at start. 
 
artsd is run as : 
/usr/bin/artsd -F 21 -S 4096 -a alsa -s 2 -m artsmessage -c drkonqi -l 3 -f
