Ubuntu (kubuntu) | UNKNOWN
Summary: Genius PS/2 NetScroll+ Eye Optical mouse is freezed
Product: Ubuntu
Version: unspecified
Platform: i386
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Keywords: kubuntu
Severity: critical
Priority: P2
Component: UNKNOWN
AssignedTo: debzilla at ubuntu.com
ReportedBy: linux-rtfm at list.ru
QAContact: kubuntu-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com
Well, the same problem as with Ubuntu 4.10 - after installation my Genius PS/2
mouse doesn't move, but in this case that is Kubuntu 5.04 already. I tried to
fix xorg.conf, but there is nothing to fix. psmouse module is present in
/etc/modules. I tried noapic nolapic option on boot, and proto=exps parameter,
but it doesn't help. On other distributons: Debian Sarge, Knoppix (all
editions) everything is OK, problem is with Ubuntu and a way it loads psmodule I
think. Well, that's it. It's a pity that I can't work with your distribution,
although I like it very much.
