Ubuntu (kubuntu) | ntp

Summary: Connection to NTP server too early during boot time
           Product: Ubuntu
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: i386
        OS/Version: other
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Keywords: kubuntu
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P3
         Component: ntp
        AssignedTo: debzilla at ubuntu.com
        ReportedBy: axel.braun at gmx.de
         QAContact: kubuntu-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com

Connect to ntp server fails regulary due to a name server issue. The reason is
that kubuntu is installed on a laptop with network via PCMCIA, but PCMCIA is
started after the requested ntp update. So, the network is just not ready. The
date/time update should be moved to a later point in time.
