Ubuntu (kubuntu) | xserver-xorg
Summary: xorg via driver for Unichrome missing in xserver-xorg
for amd64
Product: Ubuntu
Version: unspecified
Platform: amd64
URL: http://lists.ubuntu.com/archives/kubuntu-users/2005-
March/000099.html
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Keywords: kubuntu
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: xserver-xorg
AssignedTo: daniel.stone at ubuntu.com
ReportedBy: ar018 at yahoo.com
QAContact: kubuntu-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com
I'm using Kubuntu-Preview on a K8M800 (amd64) mainboard, installed xserver-xorg_6.8.2-5.1 and
xorg.conf still doesn't recognize the "via" driver. As per the URL and the following response
(http://lists.ubuntu.com/archives/kubuntu-users/2005-March/000100.html) I've rechecked via
"dpkg -L xserver-xorg" and confirmed that there is no via_drv.o driver included in
xserver-xorg. Also no man page for via.
