I got this similar problem in breezy using the xine-engine.   
  
When I open a file to play for example a xvid avi.  
And than click on the folder icon to open a new file, while the movie is playing (or stopped).   
Kaffeine crashes.    
    
* Konsole gives:

* The backtrace log gives:

This backtrace appears to be of no use. 
This is probably because your packages are built in a way which prevents creation of proper backtraces, or the stack frame was 
seriously corrupted in the crash.
