Summary: emacs font is not working in a fresh kubuntu breezy rc
                    install
           Product: Ubuntu
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: i386
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: emacs21
        AssignedTo: debzilla at ubuntu.com
        ReportedBy: martin.arver at gmail.com
         QAContact: kubuntu-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com

When I installed kubuntu breezy rc a couple of days ago, I installed emacs21
package using apt-get. When I started emacs, it stated an error in the shell
regarding the fonts lucida and helvetica not being found (do not remember the
exact error message). The trouble is that all the characters in emacs will show
up as boxes. I had to add an emacs line to .Xdefaults and do a xrld -merge
.Xdefaults to get emacs to work. Another thing I have noticed is that if I bring
up the font quick menu and change a font there, all characters are shown as boxes.
