Salve Kubuntu!

I'am experiencing the behaviour seen on comment #4 under breezy.
I installed kbubuntu-desktop yesterday and all available breeze
updates as of now. Hotplugin my usbstick works well on gnome.
When I insert the usbstick under KDE, konqueror pops up telling me:

An error occurred while loading media:/sda1:
The file or folder media:/sda1 does not exist.

If I open the location media:/ I see only my fixed devices
(md?) and fd0. media:/usbdisk didn't work either.

The output of syslog is:

Finally mount:

/dev/sda1 on /media/usbdisk type vfat
(rw,noexec,nosuid,nodev,quiet,shortname=winnt,uid=1001,gid=1001,umask=077)

I'm not really a KDE user but since pmount and
gnome-volume-manager work, I guess it's a KDE issue.
Anyways, I can't unmount it with KDE (couldn't find
the device anywhere) but I can with pumount.

I'm about to install ubuntu for a bunch of people so
I'm willing to do any tests demanded :-)

Thanks a lot!
