I have just tested this in Breezy Bager and found that the it is still broken. When I instert a floppy and 
try and read it it errors out with a message stating that the file system was not specified. When I use 
Kfloppy to try and format a floppy it errors out with a message stating that /dev/fd0u1440 is not found. Its 
disappointing that this problem/bug continues to exist now in two versions of Kubuntu.
