Summary: kdeadmin overwrites kdebase? USB flash drive mount error
           Product: Ubuntu
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: i386
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: kdebase
        AssignedTo: jriddell at ubuntu.com
        ReportedBy: chandra at ee.uwa.edu.au
         QAContact: kubuntu-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com
                CC: jriddell at ubuntu.com

The media:/ location not showing up USB flash drives, typically mounted as
/media/sda1, is supposed to be fixed in kdebase from breezy-updates. I still
had an error with this despite having installed the kdebase from breezy-updates.

If kdeadmin is installed AFTER kdebase from breezy-updates, an error
(/medis/sda1 not in fstab or mtab) shows up when a USB flash drive is connected.

If, however, kdebase is installed AFTER kdeadmin, this error does not show up
and proper behaviour as in Hoary ensues.

In both cases, the drive is mounted and an icon shows up if the Desktop is so
enabled.

I believe that kdeadmin and kdebase are in conflict and that this should be
resolved so that behaviour should be identical and independent of the order of
installation of the two packages.
