I have tried installing Kubuntu Breezy preview (daily build 20050902).   
By default the only picture editor installed is Krita.   
But KDE's "Open with" context menu for pictures (at least for PNG) does not have entry for Krita, so user does 
not know that they can use Krita to open and edit picture.  
  
BTW. I am reporting for "kde" component as there is no Bugzilla component for krita nor for koffice.
