I did not comment out DRI it does not matter either way if I do so. This bug is easy to reproduce as I had nuked out breezy and   
reinstalled it just to get that information for you. It is very easy to reproduce this bug on my system. I don't know if the  
people who are having the same issue have the same capability.    
  
As for the other testing I did I installed the nvidia drivers from nvidia.com and they acted the same way.
