This is not the right solution (but thanks ;-) )! 
First it is under Apperance & Themes -> Screensaver and second:  
While i was using hoary, i was able to select the xscreensaver from the list of available  
screensavers in the kde menu (after installing the kscreensaver-xsavers package).  
This allowed to look the screen via acpi scripts (using the xscreensaver) 
   
But now, there is no screensaver called xscreensaver selectable, so the stuff won't work
