Summary: Kernel error on modifying partition parameters
Product: Ubuntu
Version: unspecified
Platform: i386
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: base-installer
AssignedTo: cjwatson at ubuntu.com
ReportedBy: theosib at gmail.com
QAContact: kubuntu-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com
I'm using the daily build from 9/21, and I'm getting an error whenever I change a disk partition.
Whenever it writes the partition info to the disk, I get an error like this:
Error informing the kernel about modifications to partition /dev/md/Op1 - Invalid argument. This means
Linux won't know about.... etc.
I get this same error whether I'm writing out changes to physical partitions or configuring software
RAID.
