[Bug 40048] Re: K-Menu icons not created before next logout

I tested more and found out that it seems to be related to adpet more than to K-Menu.
When I first installed kolourpaint and superkaramba through adpet and Add/Remove Programs respectively there were no icons created until next login. When I then installed yakuake with apt-get the icon was immediately created.

Further testing revealed that a re-installation of yakuake (first removed with apt-get) through adpet made the icon appear instantly as well. De-installing and re-installing kolourpaint through adept had the same result - the second time the icon was there immediately.

It seems that only first-time installations within adpet are affected by this issue.

In case I was a bit imprecise so far, let me make clear, that the whole entry for these applications was missing from k-menu, not just the actual 'icon'.
