Public bug reported:
Affects: kdebase konqueror (Ubuntu)
Severity: Normal
Priority: (none set)
Status: Unconfirmed
Description:
All flash movies I've been playing in konqueror had their sound and
video asynchronous. The sound always lags behind by a second or so.
It's not important which flash movie is played, it seems to affect
everything - so any movie from one of todays popular flash movie hosters
(youtube, google video), where I could tell if sound/video are
synchronous or not, had this problem.
An example where this can bee seen is this stupid little firefox commercial - it's not specific to that video:

This is with the original macromedia flash 7 from the dapper repository.
The problem is specific to Konqueror though - when the same videos are
played with Firefox (which I had to install just for that purpose) sound
and video are perfectly synchronous. There is no other version of flash
installed on the system and right clicking the video shows that in both
cases "Macromedia Flash 7" is used - so it seems to be a Konqueror
issue.
