[Bug 58379] Amarok 1.4.2 no longer shows album art

Public bug reported:

I have lots of album art in each of the folders for the albums that I
have as JPEGs. This was quite happily showing in each Amarok version up
to 1.4.1

However, today I did an upgrade and Amarok 1.4.2 was brought in from
dapper-backports. Now, the album art is not being displayed anywhere
inside Amarok, whether in the left hand side browser bar or the Cover
Manager.

I've tried deleting my Amarok settings files under .kde and also dropped
all the tables in the MySQL database and let Amarok re-create them.
