Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: amarok
The most recent version of Amarok in Feisty has trouble writing the iPod
database while disconnecting/unmounting the device. New files transfer
over to the device fine, but Amarok actually writes to the database when
selecting "Disconnect". However, after selecting "Disconnect", Amarok
states that it failed to finish unmounting the device and the iPod
database is not updated.
Reconnecting the iPod shows the new files as "Orphaned" or "Stale".
Selecting "Repair" causes Amarok to rewrite the database, making the
files usable.
I am running Amarok under Gnome.
** Affects: amarok (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
