Kdesdk builds fine since it build-depends on libdb4.2-dev |
libdb4.3-dev, so it uses libdb4.3-dev currently.

It seems your proposition of bumping libdb4.2-dev in the build-depends
won't change anything to the build, while fixing this conflict with
libapr0-dev.

Actually, libdb4.*-dev could even be bumped entirely, since libapr0-dev
depends on libdb4.3-dev. That would prevent further conflicts if
libapr0-dev comes to depend on a newer version of libdb4.*-dev.
