I tried what you suggested (phisical disconnection from intranet enthernet card
- just pulled the crossover cable ) but still DHCP couldn't be found for the
other eth connected to the adsl modem.
I tried then to configure manually and it hang on couldn't find a mirror of
packages, in another words actually the connection couldn't be make.
I'm not really sure but it is possible the installer I use (Kubuntu Flight-2 iso
CD installer from Europe mirror) not to have in its kernel the module sk98lin
compilation? I remember for while ago I tried Breezy when was still in
development release candidate, and I end up in the same trouble: couldn't
install it because dhcp configuration failed. After on I installed the final
Ubuntu 5.10 and it regonized both ethernet cards.

I tried also Live CD Flight-2 but it didn't even load the kernel modules at boot
time.(that could be another bug).

Note: Marvell Yukon Gigabit Ethernet 10/100/1000Base-T Adapter - eth1 - sk98lin
module in kernel - which is connected to an adsl modem to the internet- is
actually a ethernet card onboard : ASUS P5GD1.

the other one -intranet:

Intel(R) PRO/100 - eth0 - e100 module in kernel - which is connectected to my
small home network -is just a PCI card installed after.

For sure there is another option that I'll try later to exhange the connections
(the card onboard to the intranet and the PCI one to the DSL modem) but I'm not
really sure that could be common solution for any of users who may try install
this distro.
Regards,
Crisa
