[Bug 53946] Dependency between kmail and kdebase

Hello,

don't know if this is really a bug ...

After installing kmail on Ubuntu 6.06 / Gnome (upgraded from previous
version) I was able to get my mails via imap, but sending won't work
until kdebase was installed also.

Wouldn't it be nice to add a warning/hint if kmail is installed without
the presence of kdebase (if possible)?
