[Bug 49272] cannot access Windows machines

Public bug reported:

Since th update to Dapper, I can  no longer access my Window machines
shared folders. When I try to click on "Windows Network" in fht enetwork
file browser, I get the error: "smb:///" is not a valid location.

This worked properly in Hoary.

Any help would be welcome.
