[Bug 49419] high CPU utilisation

Binary package hint: kicker

I use 32-bit Kubuntu 6.06, and for some reason, according to ksysguard,
kicker utilises anywhere between 80 and 97 percent of the CPU. This
leads to my system being less responsive than it should be. None of
restarting the computer, restarting kdm, or restarting kicker seem to
have fixed the problem.
