[Bug 35500] In Kubuntu Amarok is associated with Speex file but cannot play it

Description:
Release: Dapper Flight 5 (live cd)
When trying to play Speex file from "Examples" folder, Amarok is started, but does not play the file. 
When I try to drag the file to Amarok, it says that file is not playable.

If this format is not supported then the file should be removed from
examples. Or better, coded should be added.
