Description:
ADEPT cannot be accessed in Kubuntu 6.04 Dapper Drake Flight CD 5
although I sign in as root.

However, if I restart my PC, the 'sign-in' message re-apears. This time,
after I sign in as root, the Adept manager comes on, but with a delay of
approx. 15 sec.
