[Bug 36960] Adept update notifier modified my xorg.conf

Description:
After letting Adept Automatically install updates, I discovered the next
day that he modified my xorg.conf. As I have a xinerama setup I have
modified my xorg.conf manually.

This was overwritten without warning and my complete xinerama
configuration was gone, although there was a backup of the original.

This renders the automatic updates useless for me, because I don't want
to find out at 9am the next morning that the setup is trashed again.
