[Bug 37246] Unable to browse web with Konqueror

Description:
When I attempt to load a web page into Konqueror (via the Location bar), most pages load properly.  However, certain pages (verizon.com) fail to load properly with the below dialog box.  In addition, anytime I click a link from any web page, Konqueror pops up a dialog box:
Open 'http://groups.goog....hp?hl=en&tab=wg&q='?
Type: HTML document
___ Do not ask again
Save As...    Open with 'Firefox Web Browser'   Cancel
Thus, I am unable to browse the web with Konqueror.  I am willing to help troubleshoot this error, but I need direction.  The system is Kubuntu, Kde 3.5.2, kernel 2.6.15.1.
