Public bug reported:

Affects: kdegraphics kamera (Ubuntu)
       Severity: Normal
       Priority: (none set)
         Status: Unconfirmed

Description:
If I attach my Canon Ixus 430 to my PC (Dapper 30-03-2006), an icon pops
up called USB Imaging Interface. When I click it, it launches
media:/camera in konqueror with 1 item called 'Canon Digital IXUS 430
(normal mode)'. When I click it, nothing happens. When I select 'open'
in the plug-and-play window when I attach the camera, I get in
system:/media/camera/, I select the 'Canon Digital IXUS 430 (normal
mode)', the get the same again but now it is not a directory but a file
of unknown type. Click it and I get ' An error occurred while loading
system:/media/camera/camera/camera: 'Unknown error Bad parameters'. The
camera works fine in digikam 0.8.1-4ubuntu1, it is automatically
recognized and even works (first time for me, in previous debian
installs I always had to manually install a different mode, something
like p2p or the like).
