I'll provide an example since I can't explain it better.

In my breezy install:
ls bah
ls: bah: Filen eller katalogen finns inte

In my Dapper install:
ls bah
ls: bah: No such file or directory


Both are localized afaik and have the same LANG and LANGUAGE environment variables.
>From what I can see there aren't any differences between the directories /usr/share/gettext/ in my breezy or dapper install. However this is just a quick glance from my side, no deeper investigation.
There appear to be about 100 less entries in /usr/share/locale-langpack/sv/LC_MESSAGES in dapper though, if that matters.
