As I explained in

this is already approved for edgy-proposed.  There is no need to provide
any further opinions about whether or not it should be released as an
official update.

Once it is accepted into edgy-proposed, you should all test that version
and confirm that it works for you, and then it can proceed into edgy-
updates.
