[Bug 71911] Kubuntu Usplash progress bar fails at 800x600

The kubuntu usplash progress bar doesn't display correctly at 800x600
resolution, although it works fine at 1024x768. The standard ubuntu
usplash screen works at both resolutions.

I set the resolution by adding "vga=788" to the boot string, and setting
"xres=800" and "yres=600" to /etc/usplash.conf. Using these settings,
every time the progress bar is updated, the new bar is printed on the
line below the old progress bar, instead of updating in place.
