[Bug 73475] KMail's attachments aren't readable

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: kmail

When I attach a file in KMail, it become unreadable. Windows clients
display it as "ATT00", "ATT01", etc. KMail asks to save it to a file,
but the file name's extension is missing. What may be wrong?

p.s. this problem occurs with .xls, ods, zip. However, .doc files are
processed ok.
