[Bug 63517] kcontrol monitor and display settings module cannot start

Public bug reported:

Since upgrade to edgy beta1, I am unable to launch monitor and display
settings neither from guidance nor kcontrol.

Guidance says the module is probably broken.

try kcontrol > devices (peripheriques FR) > monitor and display
