Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: kdm
After resuming from hibernate, my screen blanks after about 70 seconds,
despite the normal 10 minutes.
If I restart kdm after resume, it works like with a fresh boot.
Additionally, I cannot figure out where the "blank screen" gets invoked from.
I have setup "MatrixView (GL)" in the Screen Saver panel in kcontrol - not "Blank Screen" and even not set it up to "Start automatically".
However, now that I have checked "Start automatically", set it from "After 1 min" to "After 10 min", it does not blank after said 70 seconds anymore.
Even changing it back to "Not start automatically" as before now does not trigger the "blank screen" anymore - like a kdm restart would do.
Just to be clear: moving the mouse brings back the display like before,
of course. It's just the triggering that's wrong.
** Affects: kdebase (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: Unconfirmed
