More info:

Computer used: Acer Power M6 (Linpus Linux preinstalled)

Distro's used: Linpus Linux 9.2 (has K3b preinstalled) and Ubuntu Linux
6.06.1 64-bit AMD with all auto-patches and K3b installed right after
install and patches.

CD i tried to copy: ubuntu-6.06.1-desktop-amd64.iso successfully burned
with Linpus Linux's K3b

Also tried rebooting and trying again, no success.
