I have this problem sometimes on edgy, on dapper it just locks up dead. It normally occurs after suspend, but it has happened with just switching back and foward to the console with ctrl-alt-f1. -- i810 Xv crashes after suspend -> infinite resprawn https://launchpad.net/bugs/28326
