[Bug 104906] kicker only shows in first desktop

My machine is dist-upgraded to the latest feisty. After today's updates (and perhaps from the last 10 days, didn't update since then), kicker only shows in the first desktop.

There are other issues with kicker as well: from time to time, it will
disappear altogether (I have autohide on). The only way to bring it back
is not killing it and restarting it, but rather, to open kcontrol, set
it not to autohide, and then set it to autohide again.
